Configuring Inputs
Devices having a digital output or relay port can be interfaced to the digital inputs of the relay module or
to the input ports of the camera. The SecureMind application can be configured to detect level changes at
these input ports and trigger alarm recordings or trigger output ports.
 To configure inputs:
1. Click the Input Configuration panel.

2. In Digital Inputs, to modify the name:
a. Double-click on the digital input name to modify the name. By default first 20 characters is the
camera name following which, are the port numbers.
b. Click to save the changes.
c. (Optional) Click to revert to the default name.
3. In Detect an event for the input condition, select any of the following options:
 High: Select this option when the event will change the digital input from low to high. The event will
be automatically reset when the digital input changes back to low.
 Low: Select this option when the event will change the digital input from high to low. The event will
be automatically reset when the digital input changes back to high.
4. In Enable/Disable alarm recording after detecting an event, select any of the following
options:
 Disable: Select this option if an alarm recording is not required after detecting an event
 Enable: Select this option if an alarm recording is required after detecting an event
