3. On the Recording Days pane, enter the following:
a. No. of days to store the recordings (max. 30 days): Select the maximum number of days.
After the selected number of days, the recorded videos will be deleted automatically. You can store
the videos for a maximum of thirty days.
 Note: After configuring the storage location, you can also modify the days of recording. For
details refer the Modifying the Storage Settings section.
4. The Space Available pane indicates the free space available to store the recorded videos.
 Note: If space is not available to store the videos for the no. of days you have entered, then
you must select a different volume.
During operation if there is insufficient space, the application stops recording the videos and
displays a Storage Full event. You must delete the old videos and unwanted files that are
bigger in size and make adequate space for further recording.
5. Click Finish to apply the settings.
A new shared folder is created for storing the recorded videos.
 Note: One day’s recording at 50% activity per day per camera at 400kbps bit rate occupies 2GB
of disk space approximately.
