When I add a camera, it is does not record until I manually click the record button
on Live View, why?
Answer:
By default, when you add a camera the recording is activity based recording that is whenever there is an
activity in the field of camera view, it will start recording as the activity recording. You can also record the
video streams continuously by clicking the manual record button on Live View.
How do can I disable the alarm sound?
Answer:
In Setting, go to Alert. In Alarm sound for activity alerts, deselect the Enable Alarm Sound
option.
I have configured Alerts for every day in the week, but received only one e-mail
notification while there was activity at multiple periods in a day. How do I receive
e-mail alert for each activity?
Answer:
In Setting, go to Alert. In Configure when to send e-mail alerts, select For each activity. If this
option is not enabled, then you will receive an e-mail alert for the first activity.
What information is captured in the audit log?
Answer:
The audit log captures the operations performed by the user. It provides details such as date and time,
user information, operation performed, and the client IP address.
How do I achieve better control over bit rate?
Answer:
Iframe interval must match frame rate for better bit rate control.
Do you support HD/720p formats?
Answer:
Yes HD/720p formats are supported. However, the overall bit rate should be less than the maximum
supported per platform.
What is maximum bit rate for one camera?
Answer:
6 Mbps is the maximum bit rate for one camera.
