Notes:
•YoucanrestoretheC:driveofthecomputertofactorydefaultsettingsortothelastsystembackupstatus
usingOneKeyRecovery.Ifyoudothis,alloftheexistingdataondriveC:willbelost,butthecontentand
formatoftheotherpartitionsoftheharddiskdrivewillremainunchanged.
•IfyouwanttoinstallanoperatingsystemandbackitupwithOneKeyRecovery,youmustformatthe
C:partitioninNTFSformatandinstalltheoperatingsystemontheC:partition.Otherwise,theOneKey
Recoverysystemcannotrun.
Noteabouttheservicepartition:
Thelesandrelevantdatausedbytherescuesystemaresavedintheservicepartition.Deletingthis
partitionwillmaketherescuesystemunusable.Formoredetailedinformation,seethefollowinginstructions:
FromtheSearchcharm,selectApps➙ControlPanel➙AdministrativeT ools➙ComputerManagement
➙DiskManagement,youcanseetheservicepartition,whichmustnotbedeleted.
Note:Therecoverylesandrelevantdatausedbytherescuesystemaresavedintheservicepartition.If
theservicepartitionisdeletedordamagedbysomeoneotherthanauthorizedLenovoservicepersonnel,
Lenovowillnotbeliableforanylossesarisingtherefrominanyway.
OneKeyRecovery
OneKeyRecoveryisaneasy-to-useapplication.Youcanuseittorestoreyourcomputertothesystem
defaultortoapreviouslybackedupstate.
DetailedOperationProcedure:
1.RepeatedlypressandreleasetheF2keyonceturningonthecomputeruntiltheLenovoRescue
Systemopens,thenselectOneKeyRecovery.
Note:SystemRecoverywilloverwriteallofthedataontheC:drive.Topreventlossofdata,besureto
backuprelevantdatabeforeperformingsystemrecovery.
2.Followtheon-screeninstructionstoselectthebackuptaskyouwanttorestorefromandthediskwhere
youwanttoinstalltheoperatingsystem,thenpressNexttostarttherestore.
3.Pleasewaitduringtheprocessofsystemrecovery.Donotinterrupttheoperationduringtherecovery
process.
4.Afterthesystemisrecoveredsuccessfully,thesoftwarewillpromptyoutorestartthecomputer.Restart
thecomputerandstarttheoperatingsystem.
DriverandApplicationInstallation
TheDriverandApplicationInstallationfunctionintherescuesystemprovidesawayfortheuserto
convenientlyreinstallalloftheLenovoapplicationsanddriversthatwereshippedwithyourLenovohardware.
Method1:AutomaticInstallation
RepeatedlypressandreleasetheF2keyonceturningonthecomputeruntiltheLenovoRescueSystem
opens,thenselectDriverandApplicationInstallation.Followtheon-screenpromptstoinstalltheLenovo
driversandapplications.ClickOKtostartinstallingtheLenovoDriverandApplicationInstallationsoftware.
Thesystemwillrestart.Afterthesystemhasrestarted,thedriversandapplicationinstallationprocesswill
continueuntilithascompleted.
