Iftherechargeablebatterypackisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thebattery

packcontainsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.T oavoidpossibleinjury:

•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.

•Keepthebatterypackawayfromre.

•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.

•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.

•Donotshort-circuitit.

•Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcan

causethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorameto“vent”fromthebattery

packorcoincell.

Toreplacethebattery,dothefollowing:

1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait

threetoveminutestoletthecomputercool.

2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.

3.Unlockthebatterylock1.Holdingthebatterylatchintheunlockedposition2andremovethe

batterypack3.

4.Insertafullychargedbatteryuntilitclicksintoplace.

5.Slidethemanualbatterylatchtothelockedposition.

6.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandallcables.
