Replacing the battery pack - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
To replace the battery pack, do the following:
1 Unlock the manual battery latch . While holding the spring-loaded
battery latch in the unlocked position , remove the battery pack in the
direction shown by the arrow .
2 Install a fully charged battery pack.
3 Slide the manual battery latch to the locked position.
Note:
• Use only the battery provided by Lenovo. Any other batteries could ignite or explode.
• Make sure the computer is turned off and all the cables disconnected from the computer
before you replace the battery pack.
• Make sure the computer display is closed to avoid being damaged.
