Toremoveorreplacethediskettedrive,dothefollowing:
1.Removethecover.See"Removingthecover"onpage94.
2.Removethedrivebayassembly.See"Accessingsystemboardcomponentsanddrives"onpage96.
3.Releasethediskettedrivebypressinginwardontheblueretaineratthesideofthedrive.
4.Removethefailingdiskettedrivebyslidingitoutthefrontofthedrivebayassembly.
5.Removetheretainerbracketfromthefailingdriveandinstallitonthenewdrive.
6.Installthenewdiskettedriveintothedrivebayfromthefrontuntilitsnapsintoposition.
7.Goto"CompletingtheFRUreplacement"onpage113.
