1.Makesurethatthepower-controlbuttonisworkingcorrectly:
a.Disconnecttheserverpowercords.
b.Reconnectthepowercords.
c.(Trainedservicetechnicianonly)Reseattheoperatorinformationpanelcables,
andthenrepeatsteps1aand1b.
•(Trainedservicetechnicianonly)Iftheserverstarts,reseattheoperator
informationpanel.Iftheproblemremains,replacetheoperatorinformation
panel.
•Iftheserverdoesnotstart,bypassthepower-controlbuttonbyusingthe
forcepower-onjumper(see“System-boardswitchesandjumpers”on
page111
).Iftheserverstarts,reseattheoperatorinformationpanel.Ifthe
problemremains,replacetheoperatorinformationpanel.
2.Makesurethattheresetbuttonisworkingcorrectly:
a.Disconnecttheserverpowercords.
b.Reconnectthepowercords.
3.Makesurethat:
•Thepowercordsarecorrectlyconnectedtotheserverandtoaworking
electricaloutlet.
•Thetypeofmemorythatisinstallediscorrect.
•TheDIMMsarefullyseated.
•TheLEDsonthepowersupplydonotindicateaproblem.

4.Reseatthefollowingcomponents:

5.Replacethefollowingcomponentsoneatatime,intheordershown,restarting
