ReplacingaDVDdrive
ToreplaceaDVDdrive,completethefollowingprocedures:

1.Readthesafetyinformationin“ImportantSafetyInformation”onpage1and“Guidelinesfortrained
servicetechnicians”onpage115.
2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectallpowercords.
3.Removethecover(see“Removingandinstallingthecover”onpage119).
4.Pullthereleasetab1(therearofthedrive-retentionclip)towardtherightsideoftheservertorelease
theclip;then,whileyoupullthetab,pushthedriveoutofthebay.
Note:Youmighthavetopushtheright-rearcornerofthedrivetowardthefrontoftheservertomove
thedriveinitially.
5.Removetheretentionclip1fromthedriveandsaveforfutureuse.
