CAUTION:
Thepowercontrolbuttononthedeviceandthepowerswitchonthepowersupplydonotturnoff
theelectricalcurrentsuppliedtothedevice.Thedevicealsomighthavemorethanonepower
cord.Toremoveallelectricalcurrentfromthedevice,ensurethatallpowercordsaredisconnected
fromthepowersource.

Neverremovethecoveronapowersupplyoranypartthathasthefollowinglabelattached.
Hazardousvoltage,current,andenergylevelsarepresentinsideanycomponentthathasthislabel
attached.Therearenoserviceablepartsinsidethesecomponents.Ifyoususpectaproblemwith
oneoftheseparts,contactaservicetechnician.
Removingthepowersupply
Toremovethepowersupply,completethefollowingsteps.
1.Readthesafetyinformationin“ImportantSafetyInformation”onpage1and“Guidelinesfortrained
servicetechnicians”onpage115.
2.Disconnecttheacpowercordfromtheconnectoronthepowersupply.Disconnectallexternalcables
fromtheserver.
3.Removetheserverfromtherackandremovethecover(see“Removingandinstallingthecoveron
page119).
Attention:Toensurepropercoolingandairow,donotoperatetheserverformorethan30minutes
withthecoverremoved.
4.RemovetheDIMMairbafe(see“RemovingandinstallingtheDIMMairbafe”onpage121).
5.Disconnectthepower-supplycablesfromtheconnectorsonthesystemboardandfromalldevices;
then,disengagethecablesfromanyretention-clipsthatsecurethemtothesideofthepower-supply.
Note:Notetheroutingofallpower-supplycables;youwillroutethepower-supplycablesthesame
waywhenyouinstallthepowersupply.
