TheDIMMairbafemustberemovedtoallowaccesstosomeoftheservercomponents.Toremoveand
installtheDIMMairbafe,completethefollowingprocedures:

1.Readthesafetyinformationin“ImportantSafetyInformation”onpage1and“Guidelinesfortrained
servicetechnicians”onpage115.
2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectallpowercordsandexternalcables.
3.Removetheserverfromtherackandremovethecover(see“Removingandinstallingthecover”on
page119).
4.LifttheDIMMairbafe1upandoutoftheserver.
