Youcannowpressthe
power-controlbuttontopower-on
theserver.
4.IfthisLEDdoesnotashwithin30
secondsofconnectingapower
ashtotheserver,completethe
followingsteps:
a.(Trainedservicetechnician
only)UsetheIMMrecovery
jumpertorecoverthermware
(seeSystemboardjumpers).
b.(Trainedservicetechnician
only)Replacethesystem
board.
Diagnosticprogramsandmessages
Thediagnosticprogramsaretheprimarymethodoftestingthemajorcomponentsoftheserver.Asyou
runthediagnosticprograms,textmessagesaredisplayedonthescreenandaresavedinthetestlog.A
diagnostictextmessageindicatesthataproblemhasbeendetectedandprovidestheactionyoushould
takeasaresultofthetextmessage.
Makesurethattheserverhasthelatestversionofthediagnosticprograms.Todownloadthelatestversion,
completethefollowingsteps.
