1.DeterminewhetheryouareusinganAdvancedCongurationandPowerInterface
(ACPI)oranon-ACPIoperatingsystem.Ifyouareusinganon-ACPIoperating
system,completethefollowingsteps:
a.PressCtrl+Alt+Delete.
b.Turnofftheserverbypressingthepower-controlbuttonandholditdown
for5seconds.
c.Restarttheserver.
d.IftheserverfailsPOSTandthepower-controlbuttondoesnotwork,
disconnecttheacpowercordfor20seconds;then,reconnecttheacpower
cordandrestarttheserver.
2.IftheproblemremainsorifyouareusinganACPI-awareoperatingsystem,
suspectthesystemboard.
Theserverunexpectedlyshuts
down,andtheLEDsonthe
operatorinformationpanelare
notlit.
