Theintegratedmanagementmodule(IMM)isasecondgenerationofthefunctionsthatwereformerly
providedbythebaseboardmanagementcontrollerhardware.Itcombinesserviceprocessorfunctions,video
controller,and(whenanoptionalvirtualmediakeyisinstalled)remotepresencefunctioninasinglechip.
TheIMMsupportsthefollowingbasicsystems-managementfeatures:
•Environmentalmonitorwithfanspeedcontrolfortemperature,voltages,fanfailure,andpowersupply
failure.
