RemovingthePCI-Xriser-cardpowercable
IfanoptionalPCI-Xriser-cardassemblyisinstalledintheserver,aninternalpowercablefortheassembly
isalsoinstalled.
ToremovethePCI-Xriser-cardpowercable,completethefollowingsteps:
1.Readthesafetyinformationin“ImportantSafetyInformation”onpage1and“Guidelinesfortrained
servicetechnicians”onpage115.
2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordandallexternalcables.
3.Removetheserverfromtherackandplaceitonaat,static-protectivesurface.
4.Removethecover(see“Removingandinstallingthecover”onpage119).
5.Removetheriser-cardassembly(see“ReplacingthePCIriser-cardassembly”onpage156).
