7.InsertthePCIcard5intotheriser-cardassembly,aligningtheedgeconnectoronthePCIcardwiththe
connectorontheriser-cardassembly.Presstheedgeoftheconnectorrmlyintotheriser-cardassembly.
MakesurethatthePCIcardsnapsintotheriser-cardassemblysecurely.Important:Makesurethatthe
U-shapedopeninginthemetalPCIcardbracket4engagesthetab2ontheexpansion-slotbracket1.
Attention:WhenyouinstallanPCIcard,makesurethatthePCIcardiscorrectlyseatedintheriser-card
assemblyandthattheriser-cardassemblyissecurelyseatedintheriser-cardconnectoronthesystem
boardbeforeyouturnontheserver.AnincorrectlyseatedPCIcardmightcausedamagetothesystem
board,theriser-cardassembly,orthePCIcard.
8.Reinstalltheriser-cardassemblyintheserver(see“Installingtheriser-cardassembly”onpage157).
9.IfyouhaveinstalledaPCI-Xriser-cardassembly2intheserver,reconnecttheriser-cardpowercable
2totheriser-cardassembly.
