Action:RuntheWindowsDiskDefragmenterprogram.
Note:Dependingonthesizeoftheharddiskdriveandamountofdatacurrentlystoredontheharddisk
drive,thediskdefragmentationprocessmighttakeuptoseveralhourstocomplete.
OntheWindows7operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
1.Closeanyprogramsthatarecurrentlyrunningandcloseanyopenwindows.
2.ClickStart➙Computer.
3.Right-clickyourCdriveentryandthenclickProperties.
4.ClicktheToolstab.
5.ClickDefragmentNow,thenclickContinue.
6.ClickDefragmentNowagaintostartadisk-defragmentationprocess.
