devicehasitsownpowercord,makesureitisattachedtoaproperlygroundedelectricaloutlet.
IftheUSBdevicehasitsownOn/Offswitch,makesureitisintheOnposition.
IftheUSBdevicehasanOnlineswitch,makesureitisintheOnlineposition.
IftheUSBdeviceisaprinter,makesurepaperisloadedcorrectly.
MakesureanydevicedriversorothersoftwaresuppliedwiththeUSBdeviceiscorrectlyinstalled.
RefertothedocumentationfortheUSBdevice.
ResetthedevicebydetachingandreattachingtheUSBconnector.
Iftheseactionsdonotcorrecttheproblem,runthediagnosticprogramstotesttheUSBconnector(see
