Symptom:SounddoesnotcomefromtheBluetoothheadsetorheadphonebutcomesfromthelocal
speakereventhoughtheheadsetorheadphoneisconnectedusingtheHeadsetproleorAVprole.
Action:Dothefollowing:
1.Exittheapplicationthatusesthesounddevice(forexample,WindowsMediaPlayer).
2.OpenControlPanel.
3.ClickHardwareandSound➙Sound.
4.SelectthePlaybacktab.
5.IfyouareusingtheHeadsetprole,selectBluetoothHands-freeAudioandclicktheSetDefault
button.IfyouareusingtheAVprole,selectStereoAudioandclicktheSetDefaultbutton.
6.ClickOKtoclosetheSoundwindow.
PIMitemssentfromtheWindows7orWindows8operatingsystemcannotbereceivedcorrectly
Symptom:PersonalInformationManager(PIM)itemssentfromtheWindows7orWindows8operating
systemcannotbereceivedcorrectlyintotheaddressbookofanyotherBluetooth-enableddevice.
Action:TheWindows7andWindows8operatingsystemssendPIMitemsinXMLformat,butmost
Bluetooth-enableddeviceshandlePIMitemsinvCardformat.IfanotherBluetooth-enableddevicecan
receivealethroughBluetooth,aPIMitemsentfromtheWindows7orWindows8operatingsystem
mightbesavedasalewiththeextension.contact.
