4. Instrument Setup

4.4 Power supply

The Leica EG1150 C refrigeration unit requires a specific voltage and

frequency (refer to "Technical data" chapter), and is therefore always

delivered with a power cable that fits the instrument.

Please observe the following notes to prevent damage to the unit:

• Connectthepowercordplug(7) to the connecting port (6).

• Plugthepowercordintothewalloutlet.

Before connecting the instrument to the power supply, it is manda-

tory to check whether the voltage specified on the identification la-

bel (rear side) matches the actual voltage values at the installation

location.

If this is not the case, the connection must not be made!

The unit must be connected only with the supplied power cable and

only to a grounded power receptacle.

Do not use an extension cord!
