4.4.5 Theparanstation
• Theparanstation(54) is located behind the left door (53) of the instru-
ment, below the retort (Fig. 37). It ensures that sucient fresh, liquid
paran is always available for the paran baths. The capacity is 5.0 l of
liquid paran.
• Therearetwomarksintheinteriorofthestationthatdisplaytheminimum
ll level when lled with pellets or liquid paran (Fig.38). The level must
not fall below these marks.

The indicator light on the lower right of the icon will also
be red.
Proceed slowly and carefully when pulling out the
station—neverjerkitout.Theparaninsideitisuidand
hot—it can cause burns. The cover is also hot, therefore
always wear gloves!
