4.3 Installing the tube for external exhaust air (optional)

The instrument has been designed by the manufacturer

so that it can be connected to an external exhaust de-

vice. The standard delivery includes the "Flange kit for

external ventilation" for this purpose.

To do so, set up the instrument so that it is possible

to connect the exhaust hose to the external exhaust

device.

Even if the instrument is connected

to an external exhaust device, the

active carbon lter provided must

remain in use.

The ange kit (Fig. 21) consists of the exhaust hose (74)

(Ø=50mm)andtheexhaustange(75).

First, install the exhaust ange. To do this, proceed as

follows:

• Useasi z e3Allenkey(76) to loosen and unscrew

the four hexagon socket screws (77) on the back

panel of the instrument (Fig. 22).

Do not loosen ANY other screws!

Otherwise the instrument may be

damaged.

• Makesurethatyoudonotremovethefanplate

(78);theplateMUST remain under the ange.
