7. Troubleshooting
• Ifno inltration program is running when a power failure is detected, no further actions / backup measures are taken -
the instrument shuts down automatically.
When a program is running:
• Theprogramthatisrunningisstopped,regardlessofthecurrentstatusofprocessing.

• Ifareagentisbeingusedforwhichnosafereagentisinthe
instrument when the program starts, a warning message
appears (Fig. 239). However, the program launch is NOT
aborted.
• Ifasafe reagent is in the retort, the reagent can be kept in
the event of power failure, though the retort may have to be
lled to a high enough level so that no tissue sample is dry.
This operation is automatically controlled by the instrument
and cannot be inuenced by the operator.
• Ifno safe reagent is in the retort, depending on the cur-
rent status of processing the program that is in progress, a
"decision" is made about how to proceed.
