5.4.2 Rellingparan
5. Operation
There are two marks in the interior of the station that display the minimum ll level when lled
with pellets or liquid paran respectively (Fig. 170). The level must not fall below these marks.
The paran station can be lled with paran pellets, paran blocks or liquid paran.
If lled with pellets, the melting time is approx. 6.0 h.
Fillingaparanbath
• Inthesmartscreen,selectanemptyparanbathandthe
full paran station. Then press the STATION REFILL button.
• Conrmtheprompt(Fig. 171) with YES.
• Theliquidparanisthenpumpedfromtheparanstation
to the retort.
• Then,theselectedparanbathislledfromtheretort.
• Finally,theretorthastobecleaned.

If a paran bath is lled with pellets, the melting time will be
approximately 720 min (12 h).
• Filltheparanbathtothebrimwithpellets,andafterabout
6 h top up with pellets again.
• ThensetthemeltingtimeintheSERVICE FUNCTIONS menu
(see also Chapter 5.1.5).

Fillingfromtheparanstation
Theinitialllingofallthreeparanbathsshouldhaveusedparanthathasbeenmeltedearlier,e.g.using
anexternalparanovenorotherprocessor,sothattheinstrumentcanbestartedupasquicklyaspossible.
Then,usetheparanstationforlling.
If the last reagent in the retort is not com-
patiblewithparan,theretortmustrstbe
cleaned using a cleaning program.
