18 in Fig. 155) for reagents, the connection piece (71) must

engage with the spout with a clearly audible click.

5.4 Reagent handling 5.4.1 Filling/draining reagents

5. Operation

The following steps should only be carried out

by trained laboratory personnel, experienced

in handling reagents.

Always wear rubber gloves and safety gog-

gles when handling the reagents used in this

instrument.

Reagents used for tissue inltration can be

both toxic and/or ammable.

When lling or draining a system bottle or

RTU-bottle, ensure that the remote ll/drain

hose is securely hooked into the external sta-

tion and is not removed until the operation is

fully completed. Finally, pressurized air is used

to clear the hose after each ll / drain so that

no dirt remains. The hose must therefore not

be taken out of the external station until this

cleaning step is complete.
