User's Manual

This device is only authorized for use in a mobile application. At least 20 cm of separation distance
between the module and the user's body must be maintained at all times.
The final host / module combination may also need to be evaluated against the FCC Part 15B
criteria for unintentional radiators in order to be properly authorized for operation as a Part 15
digital device. The FCC Part 15 Statement shall be included in the user m anual of final
commercial product if applicable.
CAUTION: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved could void the user s authority
to operate the equipm ent.
For limited modular approval
The module is limited to use in the host.
the lim ited module m anufacturer reviews detailed test data or host designs prior to giving the
host manufacturer approval. The limited module manufacturer must state how control of the
product into which the modular transmitter will be installed will be maintained such that full
compliance of the product is always ensured. For additional hosts other than the specific host
originally granted with a limited module, a Class ll permissive change is required on the m odule
grant to register the additional host as a specific host also approved with the m odule

Antenna
The antenna gain of a new antenna should be of the same type as the originally approved antenna
and the antenna gain should not be higher than the antenna gain of the originally tested antenna
. The list of originally approved PCB antennas is the following
-Type of antenna: PCB antenna;peak gain: 4.18 dBi
It is required that the final product using the module must provide adequate shielding to the
radio frequency circuitry and supply power to this module with regulated power, to ensure the
final product complies with Part 15 of FCC rules.
