The adorne Frame System
The frame is the foundation upon which the adorne modular
system is built. It is manufactured with high-strength galvanized
metal and includes a ground wire.
Frames include plastic spacers. The spacers remain in place
for devices with full size backbodies. They must be removed for
devices with plus size backbodies, such as dimmers and GFCI
outlets.
The frame completes the enclosure, providing a safe installation
during the construction phase and allowing the wall plate to be
installed at the end of the project.
Each frame includes a leaded ground that supports the full
adorne system. Most switches, outlets, and wall plates (including
cast metals) are automatically grounded to the frame, saving time
and ensuring a safe and reliable ground path.
