The Leddar Pixell uses a bi-static optical design. The spacing between the transmitter window and the
receiver window (Fig. 18) creates a variable vertical overlap at close range, as shown in Fig. 17. The receiver
has a single wide FoV depicted in orange in Fig. 17. The emitting section consists of 8 laser lines covering
the entire horizontal FoV; however, each line scans a portion of the vertical FoV. At a very close range, only
the top-emitting segments overlap with the receiving FoV.
