EDIT LECNET MONITOR MAP ENTRY WINDOW
The Edit LecNet Monitor Map Entry window describes a single
monitor map entry.
At the top is listed the LecNet device and selected monitor. If
the required device isn’t listed or if no device is listed, use the
device list window to add devices. If the required monitor is
not available, you may use the Monitors Master List window to
create it.
At the bottom the AXlink mapping is described. Three types of
mapping are possible.
Channel useful for monitoring single on/off parameters that can change automatically (e.g.
telephone hybrid connect status). Valid channel IDs are 1-255 decimal.
Level useful for monitoring numeric parameters that can change automatically (e.g.
automatic mixer channel level). Valid level IDs are 1-8 and 9-64 decimal (see
AXLINK DEVICE SPECIFICATION for details on pseudo-levels 9-64).
8 Channels useful for monitoring bitwise grouped on/off parameters that can change automati-
cally (e.g. automatic mixer microphone status). The least significant bit is mapped to
the lowest numbered channel. Valid starting channels are 1-248 decimal.
ACTIONS MASTER LIST WINDOW
The Actions Master List window may be used to create new LecNet actions covering functions not anticipated by
Lectrosonics. Using the Actions Master List is not difficult, but you may wish to check Lectrosonics’s web site for
updates, in case the function you need has already been created (see ACTION AND MONITOR FILES in the AD-
VANCED CONCEPTS section for the web address). If the function you need to perform requires that more than
seven bytes be sent to the device, not including the LecNet address, it cannot be described as an action. AXCESS
programmers can achieve more sophisticated interchange with the SEND_STRING capability. See the AXLINK
DEVICE SPECIFICATION section for details.
