 EditInfo - Press this option button and a WaveStation firmware

version details screen is shown and contains details for Boot-Strap

Number, Software Version, Hardware Version, Model Number,

and Serial Number.

Exit the screen by pressing any Option, Waveform, or Function

button on the Front Panel (on page 13).

 Update - Firmware updates are made available for the

WaveStation function/arbitrary waveform generator and may be

downloaded from www.lecroy.com.

The firmware update download contains a file with a .ads

extension. This is the file needed for your firmware update. Copy

this file onto a USB memory stick.

Now, select the Update option button on the 2/2 main Util menu

and the main Save/Recall screen is shown.

At this point, plug your USB memory stick into the USB connector

on the Front Panel (on page 13) of your WaveStation.

Navigate to your stored .ads file on your memory stick (mapped to

drive A). With the .ads file selected on the File section of the

Browser, press the Recall option button.

Note: At this point the firmware update begins. Do not power

off the WaveStation for any reason during this process. Doing

so can render your WaveStation inoperable.
