Contents: Who Knows Math?™ main unit 4 Wired remote controls WHO KNOWS MATH?™ Features Player 4 remote Repeat AC Adapter jack Player 3 remote Game Select ON/OFF volume dial Headphone jack Player 1 remote Player 2 remote Buttons Power/Volume dial – Turn the unit ON/OFF and adjust the audio volume. Game select dial – Choose a math subject. Repeat – Press to repeat the last question. Player Remotes 1–4 – Use these remotes to answer questions throughout the game.
Installing and Replacing the Batteries: Requires: Phillips screwdriver 3 AA Batteries Batteries should be installed or replaced by an adult. Who Knows Math?™ requires 3 AA batteries (not included). The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the unit. To install batteries, first undo the screws (using a Phillips screwdriver) and remove the battery compartment door. Install batteries as indicated inside the compartment. (see back of guide for additional notes on proper battery care.
How to Play the Game: • Listen as the game asks multiple-choice, true/false, or yes/no questions. • Use the remote controls to answer questions throughout the game. • Press the green button to answer any question as True, Yes, or A for multiple choice questions. • Press the red button to answer any question as False, No, or B for multiplechoice questions. Question Types: During the game, you will hear a variety of question types. • Multiple Choice – These are basic “A or B” questions.
Operating Who Knows Math? with the Adapter: With the optional AC adapter Who Knows Math? can run without batteries. Follow these steps to use the adapter with your Who Knows Math? unit: 1. Plug the end of the adapter cord into the AC adapter jack, located on the side of the unit, as indicated in the product diagram. • Only Use the unit with the recommended AC adapter (LER 6989) - available at www.learningresources.
Battery Care and Maintenance Tips: • Use 3 AA batteries only. • Be sure to insert batteries correctly (with adult supervision) and always follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instructions. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. • Insert batteries with the correct polarity. • Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries. • Charge rechargeable batteries under adult supervision. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
