5 Operating LT-ELP223Q Quick Locking Operation Tail Cap Battery Installation 1. Press down the grooved area on the Quick Release Tail Cap Locking Lever, and pull the Tail Cap to open (Fig. 1.1). 2. Insert two 3-volt lithium batteries. Press down the Locking Lever and push Tail Cap toward the main body until Locking Lever is securely engaged into position (Fig. 1.2).
