Installation Instructions for

GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION

These fixtures are intended to be installed utilizing

NEC compliant junction boxes.

This product is suitable for damp locations.

Incandescent version may be dimmed with a standard incandescent

dimmer. LED version may be dimmed with a LED dimmer. Consult

lamp manufacturer for additional information.

Install the Mounting Plate

Separate the mounting plate from the canopy by

unscrewing the two fixture screws on the canopy.

Secure the mounting plate to the electrical box with the

two #8-32 screws.

Assemble the Fixture

Unscrew fixture cap and remove the cap and top flat

washer from the socket assembly and cord.

B 2D CAP SILICONE WASHER FIXTURE WIRES FLAT WASHER HALF BALL/ UPPER STEM ASSEMBLY 5 CORD CANOPY FLAT WASHER 6 STEM 6 2 Ensure that the silicone washer and flat washer remain in place and feed the fixture cord through the shade. 3 Reinstall the flat washer and cap onto the cord. 2C 7 NIPPLE FIXTURE 4 Insert the socket assembly nipple through the top of the shade and secure it in place with the cap. Do not overtighten.

Install the Fixture 3A 3B 5 2 4 5 3 7 4 6 TAB 1 1 Feed the fixture wires through the mounting plate center hole and then pull them out of the electrical box. 2 Install the strain relief by first feeding the power cord through it. 3 Snap the strain relief tab into place. 4 Pull the cord to take up the slack and fit the rest of the cord in the strain relief’s openings. 3 5 Connect the mounting plate and the fixture ground wire to a suitable ground in accordance with local electrical codes.
