Page 2 of 5 PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKS Ensure battery is disconnected. INSTALLATION STEP 1 Remove the A pillar trim screw cover using a plastic trim tool. Once the trim is removed, it will expose the T30 torx screw. Undo the T30 Torx screw. STEP 2 Once the screw is removed slide the ‘A’ Pillar trim downwards. Trim can now be removed. ‘A’ Pillar trim needs to be removed on both sides of the vehicle. STEP 3 - WIRING WITH SPLICE Mount the relay and connect the live and earth connections.
Page 3 of 5 STEP 3 - WIRING WITH SWITCH Mount the relay and connect the live and earth connections. RUN THE SWITCH CABLE THROUGH THE FACTORY GROMMET RELAY LOCATION DRILL A 20MM HOLE AND INSTALL THE SWITCH LIVE CONNECTION EARTH CONNECTION STEP 4 Unscrew the clips and remove the scuttle panel trim. STEP 5 Run the lamp cables through the scuttle, one to the left, and one to the right.
Page 4 of 5 STEP 7 Plug in the harness extension cables. STEP 8 Run the cables up the A pillar (Reccomended to secure with tape). Repeat both sides and then replace the A pillar trims. STEP 9 Tuck the extension cable into the gap on the roof using a plastic trim tool. STEP 10 Familiarise yourself with the pod bases before bonding to the vehicle roof, one is for left side and one is for right side. STEP 11 Place the position guides on the roof.
Page 5 of 5 STEP 12 Apply included sealant to the base of the roof pod as shown and remove the 3M pad backing ready to position in place. STEP 13 Position the base on the roof by butting the rear edge of the base up to the positioning guides. STEP 14 Install the lamps to the base and plug the power cables. STEP 15 Position the lamp angle to 90 degrees. STEP 16 Install the included rubber trim around the buttom of the pod cover.
Page 4 of 5 STEP 17 Install the pod cover over the top of the lamp. Excess cable can also be secured and hidden inside the cover. STEP 18 Install the pod cover security screws. STEP 19 Re-connect battery and ensure lights are working correctly.
