Safety Instructions

• Do not use an extension lead. If you accept liability

for doing so, only use an extension lead which is in

good condition, has a plug with an earth connection

and is suited to the power rating of the appliance.

• Care should be taken when using the appliance due

to the emission of steam.

• Never direct the steam at people, animals or electrical

appliances of any kind.

• Contact with steam under pressure can result in severe

burns.

• Use the protective glove when steaming.

• Unplug the garment steamer when it is not in use.

• Unplug the garment steamer during lling and cleaning.

• Position the electric cable so that it cannot be pulled or

caught to avoid a tripping hazard.

• To avoid risk of electric shock, do not pull the electric

cable from the wall socket – take a rm hold of the plug

and remove it.

• The appliance must be rested on a stable surface.

• Use the special lling bottle provided in order to ll the

appliance and avoid overlling.

• Tap water can be used for lling the appliance.

Demineralized water can extend the life of the appliance.

• Use only demineralized or distilled water (for Denmark).

• Never ll solvents, solvent containing liquids or undiluted

acids into the boiler.
