RETURNING TO SERVICE: 
 
Check the lift and the immediate area around the lift to ensure that 
nonessential items,, tools and parts are removed and that the lift 
components are operationally intact. 
 
Check the work area to ensure that all employees have been safely 
positioned or removed from the work area. 
 
Notify all employees that the lockout/tagout is going to be removed and 
the lift is going to restarted. 
 
Remove the lockout/tagouts in the reverse order as the installation. 
 
Verify the proper operation of the equipment. 
 
Notify affected employees that the maintenance/service is completed and 
the machine is ready for operation. 
ELECTRICAL 
240VOLTS
AT THE LIFT, PRESS THE 
EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON 
COMPLETELY TO DE-ENERGIZE 
THE CONTROL BUTTONS (IF 
APPLICABLE). 
AT THE DISCONNECT PLANEL, 
PLACE THE DISCONNECT 
HANDLE IN OFF POSITION. 
ATTACH A MULTIPLE LOCUOUT 
DEVICE. LOCK AND TAG. 
DANGER: LINE SIDE OF
DISCONNECT REMAINS 
ENERGIZED 
ATEMPT TO RESTART THE 
SYSTEM, THE SYSTEM MUST 
NOT START. VISUALLY VERIFY 
OPEN DISCONNECTS AND 
LOCKING DEVICE INSTALLED.
PNEUMATIC 
UPTO 
160PSI
SLOWLY CLOSE LOCKOUT 
VALVE TO RELEASE AIR 
PRESSURE GRADUALLY. 
ATTACH MULTIPLE LOCKOUT 
DEVICE, LOCK AND TAG. 
DANGER: LINE SIDE OF 
DISCONNECT REMAINS 
PRESSURIZED 
VERIFY THE VALVE IS CLOSED 
AND LOCKOUT DEVICE IS 
PROPERLY ATTACHED. 
OPERATE THE PNEUMATIC 
SYSTEM TO ENSURE THE 
SYSTEM IS DE-ENERGIZED. IT 
MAY BE NECESSARY TO BLEED 
THE SYSTEM OF REMAINING 
COMPRESSED AIR, THIS CAN 
BE PERFORMED AT THE BASE 
OF THE WATER SEPARATOR 
BOWL.
