DTC Help: Select the desired diagnostic trouble code, then tap this link to
launch the browser and retrieve the denition of the selected DTCs.
Generally, there are three elements on DTC:
Suspect Parameter Number (SPN) – Indicates what function on the •
ECU has failed.
Failure Mode Indicator (FMI) – Indicates in what way the function failed.•
Occurence (OC) – Indicates the occurence times of the current DTC.•
Whereas, if we choose [SAE J1708], the fault code may includes:
Subsystem Identier (SID) – Indicates what function on the ECU has •
failed.
Failure Mode Indicator (FMI) – Indicates in what way the function failed.•
Occurence (OC) – Indicates the occurence times of the current DTC.•
: To save the current data in text format.
: To save the current data in screenshot form.
Tap
to return to the function selection screen.
5.5.2 Clear trouble code
Tap “Clear diagnostic trouble code” in function menu, the system will
automatically delete the currently existing trouble code.
Note: The trouble code will not disappear until the trouble was
completely cleared.
5.5.3 Data stream
Tap “Read data stream” in function menu, the screen displays as below:
