INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

HANGING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If
necessary, remove the old fixture including the mounting
hardware.
2. Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton and
check that all parts are included as shown in the
illustration.
3. Attach the crossbar (A) to the outlet box using two outlet
Box Screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”). The side of the
Crossbar marked “GND” must face out.
INSTALLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
4. By measuring, determine the desired hanging height and
select the proper rods (F).
5. Feed the fixture wire carefully through one of the fixture
loops (I), quick link (H), loop (G), rod(s) (F) and swivel of
canopy (D).
6. Connect the rods (F) to loop (G) and thread the top rod to
the swivel of canopy (D).
7. Attach the loop (G) to the fixture loop (I) using quick link
(H).
8. Attach the metal sheet (K), glass panel (J & O) to the
arms (N) and secure with plastic washer (L) and knurled
knob (M).
9. Thread the nipple(C) part way into the center hole of the
crossbar (A). The side of the cross bar marked “GDN”
must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 3)
10. Connect the electrical wire as shown in (Fig.2), making
sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet
box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect
the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the
fixture ground wire directly to the crossbar (A) using the
green screw provided. Tuck the wire connections neatly
into the outlet box
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
11. Place the canopy (D) over the nipple (C) and secure
with nut (E).
12. Install the light bulb(s) (not included) in accordance with
the fixture’s specifications. (DO NOT EXCEED THE
MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!) (NE PAS DEPASSER
LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the
junction box and test the fixture.
Note: Illustration (Fig. 1) on this manual is for
installation purposes only. It may or may not be
identical to the fixture purchased.
