LED STATUS INDICATION
EL-USB-TC features two LEDs:
▪ The rst LED ashes red to indicate that the EL-USB-TC is in an alarm condion. It will ash when the logged temperature
has exceeded a Low or High alarm level.
▪ The second LED ashes green to indicate that the EL-USB-TC is not in an alarm condion.
Using EL-WIN-USB it is possible to set the alarm to remain acve even if the reading has returned to normal, in which case the
alarm LED will connue to ash red. This ‘Hold’ feature in the soware ensures the user is noed that at some point an alarm
level has been exceeded, without needing to download the data.
Using the control soware it is possible to set a delayed alarm. In this mode the logger has to see mulple consecuve alarms
before being acvated.
Hold is enabled by default, and can be turned o via the control soware. The red LED will then only ash whilst the logger is in an
alarm condion. When the temperature returns to normal, the green LED will ash.
