The Larson Electronics RFM-7 roof mount spotlight produces a beam that projects approximately 700' in length by 70' wide. The
rotation and up and down directional is controlled with a handle at the end of the post inside the vehicle. Twisting the handle moves
the lamp up and down, while turning the handle rotates the light.
The RFM-7 roof mount spotlight measures 10.25 inches from the center of the lamp to the center of the handle with 4.75 inches of post exposed
(2.75 inches are inside the lamp head and 2.75 inches are inside the handle attachment). This post has 2 3/4" roof clearance measuring from the
top of the roof surface to the bottom of the headliner. This roof mount spotlight is the recommended model for most consumer vehicles and trucks
in the USA.
The RFM-12 is more appropriate for trucks with integrated consoles or raised roof configurations.
The RFM-7 is equipped with a 100 watt Type H3 halogen bulb with an aluminum reflector and impact resistant polycarbonate lens. This roof
mount spotlight comes complete with an "O" Ring for a leak-proof design, a universal mounting bracket, installation template, and installation
instructions. These lights operate on 12 or 24 volts DC and are available in a black or chrome housing. An on/off switch is conveniently located
just above the rubberized handle for easy access with the thumb.
