MUL-4 Magnetic Utility Light (MUL) Magnetic Mount - Ultra Spotlight
Part #: MUL-4
The Magnetic Utility Light (MUL) (TM) series of spotlight and flood lights are MADE IN THE USA and enable the operator to control the
angle of the beam by manually adjusting the light head.
Magnetic Utility Light (MUL) have magnetic mount bases, measuring 3.25 inches in diameter, that secure the light to any metal surface.
Magnetic Utility Lights are used as military spotlights, searchlights, utility spotlights, roof mount spotlights, hunting spotlights, work lights
and linesman lights.
Magnetic Utility Light (MUL) will hold their position once the operator places the beam. The operator loosens a knob, positions the light
head and then tightens the knob to lock in the angle. A simple hinge system with tension knob enables the operator to position the light
head and secure the position under vibratory conditions. The operator can adjust the tension to increase or loosen the "position holding"
tension bases on the amount of vibration in the environment.
This 80 watt, sealed beam spotlight projects 2750 LUX at 25 feet and reaches distances of 750 feet.
Like the entire all-glass spotlight range, this lamp in this spotlight was designed and built for aircraft landing lighting and is resistant to
vibration and weather related damage.
The Halogen Infrared Reflective (HIR) bulb is specially designed with a HIR lamp capsule, featuring a multi-layered thin film coating that
allows visible light to pass through while reflecting infrared energy back to the filament. The reflected energy helps keep the filament within
this spotlight at its optimum. The life of this lamp is rated at 450 hours within a Larson Electronics.
Features:
- Solid polycarbonate upright, handle is contoured to individual fingers for comfortable grip and control. The upright handle configuration
enables operator to control the movement of the light easily. Upright handle elevates the light head 7 inches from the magnetic base, to
