The EPL-DL-70-48 Explosion Proof Dock Light is U.L. approved Class 1 & 2, Division 1 & 2 and is rated for use in wet and marine
environments. The 50" extended swing arm made of 1 1/2 square steel tube and metal halide lamp used with this unit provides
operators with excellent power and efficiency coupled with high versatility and ease of use.
The EPL-DL-70-48 explosion proof dock light provides 13,000 square feet of work area coverage with 32,000 lumens of light output. The 70
watt metal halide lamp on this unit produces illumination equivalent to typical 400 watt halogen lamps while drawing only 70 watts at .58 amps.
The metal halide lamp runs cooler than 400 watt halogen lamps, resulting in an easier to handle unit and less heat in the workspace. The metal
halide lamp in this unit produces a brilliant flood pattern of light that is ideal for high vibration environments and general illumination in any area
designated a hazardous location fitting this units' classification. A 50 inch extended swing arm made of 1 1/2 square steel tube provides
adjuatble mounting for a 70 watt light head and allows users to position the light as needed during loading and unloading operations.
