Featuring lightweight yet ultra rugged design and balanced, ergonomic handling, the HL-85-CPR halogen handheld spotlight from
Larson Electronics is the perfect fit for the traditionalist looking for a high powered spotlight. This unit uses one 100W halogen bulb
and an advanced reflector and lens configuration to generate 1,800 lumens with a beam reach of over 1,600 feet. Equipped with a 12V
DC vehicle plug, this IP65 rated waterproof spotlight is ideal for hunting, camping, marine and boating use as well as for first
responders and emergency services.
Light Features:The HL-85-CPR handheld spotlight delivers an impressive 1,800 lumens while drawing 100 watts of energy. With 7 million
candlepower and a 5" reflector, this spotlight carves a path through the darkness with a beam length of over 1,600 feet. The unit uses a 5"
aluminum reflector and a halogen bulb created for fast heat dissipation.

The reflector of the HL-85-CPR is designed with a unique shape and shallow contour and then paired with a convex lens and inset lens position
to efficiently capture and project a focused beam of light while reducing the light spillage and waste that is common with many spotlights. This
efficient design also reduces casting, a phenomenon that occurs when wasted light "spills" around the light source. Often times, when
surrounded by water, snow or other reflective surfaces, this light spillage prevents the human eye from adjusting properly and seeing objects at a
distance. As much as 50% of the light can be lost. However, with the HL-85-CPR spotlight configuration, 90% of the emitted light is captured and
focused, clearly and sharply illuminating objects all the way to the end of the beam reach.
The HL-85-CPR handheld spotlight features a lightweight yet tough and durable construction. The ABS polycarbonate body and lens provide
impact and shatter resistance, enabling this light to take the toughest of abuse in the field and on the jobsite. While the HL-85-CPR is built to
withstand rugged use and harsh outdoor conditions, comfort and ease of operation haven't been sacrificed. The nylon handle has a no-slip
textured surface that ensures a firm grip even in wet conditions. The booted push button is conveniently placed to allow operators easy forefinger
access to the switch for quick on/off action.
The ergonomic handle is 4.5 inches long, 1.5 inches deep and 5/8 inch thick and 3/8-16 inch brass nut fixture embedded in the base of the
handle allows operators to attach a magnetic base like our MM-2 or MM-5 to the light. This feature also allows the light to be mounted to a
standard tripod as well. The HL-85-CPR spotlight is designed for easy field maintenance with simple internal connectors accessed through the
snap in base at the bottom of the handle and a lamp housing that is easily removed to access the bulb and wiring. No tools are required to
change any part of the light including the bulb.
