The Larson Electronics HL-85-5W1-UV365 UltraViolet LED Pistol Grip Spotlight is an extremely rugged and effective UV spotlight
designed to give users in operations requiring UV illumination a powerful, durable and easy to use source of UV light. This UV
spotlight produces an ultraviolet light beam in the 365Nm range, requires no tools for servicing, and operates on any voltage ranging
from 9 to 32 volts DC.
This light weight, UV LED spotlight is ergonomically designed to produce a well balanced and easily managed handheld ultraviolet light source
that can withstand abuse under demanding conditions and operate on any voltage ranging from 9 to 32 volts DC. This light contains a single
ultraviolet LED which is paired with a patent pending reflector design to produce a powerful and effective ultraviolet light beam in the 365Nm end
of the light spectrum. Nominal intensity would be 365nm at 12.5 mW/cm²at 12 inches. This pistol grip spotlight is designed for durability with a
handle constructed of high impact nylon and an LED fully potted within a lamp assembly constructed of machined aluminum. The LED lamp
assembly is protected by a thick Lexan lens and the LED technology provides a lamp life rated at 50,000 hours.
This UV spotlight and the materials it is constructed from are water, UV ray, impact and vibration resistant and designed to be easily field
serviceable. This unit requires no tools to remove any components and the internal connectors are accessed through a snap in base at the
bottom of the handle. This unit uses a single powerful UV LED, not a cluster of low quality and low power LEDs.

Versatile Power Options: This pistol grip UV spotlight operates on any voltage ranging from 9 to 32 volts DC. Each HL-85-5W1-UV365 comes
with a detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug. The cord is detached via a weatherproof, 2 pin Deutsch connector which easily and
securely attaches and detaches the coil cord from the spotlight. Other cords, including 21 foot cords with ring terminals (C-21RT), 16 foot cord
with spring battery clamps (alligator clips) (C-16BC) and a 16 foot straight cord with cigarette plug (C-16CP) are available.
Durability-Convenience: The HL-85-5W1-UV365 LED Pistol Grip Spotlight contains a single Ultraviolet LED that is fully potted within a
machined aluminum lamp housing and protected by a thick Lexan lens. This LED has an expected life span of 50,000 hours and the entire LED
lamp housing can be removed and replaced. This light is constructed of UV, water and impact resistant materials including a handle constructed
of high impact nylon for extreme durability and resistance to damage from vibrations, shocks and impacts. The machined aluminum lamp housing
is finished with an anodized coating for corrosion resistance and 16 gauge wiring is used to connect the internal components.
Versatility: The entire unit weighs only 14 ounces and comes with an included wrist lanyard for added carrying security. This light has a 3/8-16
inch brass nut fastener imbedded in the base of the handle to allow mounting this light to a tripod or magnetic base like our MM-2 or MM-5. We
also offer permanent mount bases, which can be screwed into the base as well. This unit is fully field serviceable and requires no tools to
disassemble or reassemble. This unit is ideal for military, security and law enforcement as well as hunting and any application that requires an
extremely durable and effective source of UV illumination.
