INSTRUCTION FOR UNILET SEALING FITTINGS APPROVED FOR USE
WITH:
APPLETON. wiko® A AND
CROUSE-HINDS Chico® A SEALING CEMENT
• The National Electrical Code in ArtJcle 501 Section 501.15 Class I. Division 1 and 2, requires th at seals be installed in spec c
locations. This is to prevent the passage of gases, vapors or flames th rough th e conduit from one portion of the electricalmsta -
lion
to another portion.
• Appleton sealillg unilers are UL listed for use
in hazardous locations with Ap pl eton Kwiko A compound or Crouse Hinds Chico
A compound
