HUL-18-HID
NOTICE
Do not operate the HUL-18-HID in an environment where flammable gases may be
present.
Do not stare directly into the light or shine directly into the eyes of another person as
this may cause temporary loss of vision.
If damage occurs, do not operate until it has been inspected by an authorized service
center.
Never touch any exposed sections, especially any wires, as this may cause serious injury
from high voltage electrical shock.
Do not operate the flashlight if the front lens is cracked or removed.
Do not allow objects or skin to contact the lens after extended operation.
Due to high intensity discharge characteristics and to prolong bulb life, do not
continuously switch the light on and off.
POWER
1. The HUL-18 is equipped with a 16 foot coil cord with a cigarette plug.
2. Each unit is configured for either 12 volts or 24 volts DC. The 12 volt models can be
plugged into 12 volt DC power supplies, which most consumer vehicles operate on. The
24 volt models can be plugged into a 24 volt DC power supply, generally for military and
heavy equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no difference in light output between a 12 volt and 24 volt
model. Each unit is configured to a specific voltage and IS NOT interchangeable.
3. Power transformers (DCP-11-DP) can be purchased through our website to run this
halogen spotlight from household wall outlets.
REPLACING THE BULB
Replacement bulbs are available on our website at www.Larsonelectronics.com.
(Part Number HUL-18-HID-SB)
1. Four (4) screws hold the housing and the lens together. To replace the bulb you must
use a Philips head screw driver to remove the screws.
2. Unplug both of the deutsch connectors from the used bulb.
3. Remove both of the wire prongs that hold the bulb in place. You should now be able to
remove the bulb.
