A 3/8-16 inch brass nut fixture is imbedded in the base of the handle enabling the operator to mount a magnetic base, like our MM-2 or MM-5 to
the light. Alternatively, the operator can tripod mount this light as well. It also comes equipped with a lanyard attachment at the top of the handle
for users that want to secure the light in the event they lose their grip.
Each Larson Electronics spotlight comes with a 21 foot cord with ring terminals. The cord is detached via a weatherproof, 2 pin Deutsch
connector which easily and securely attaches and detaches the cord from the spotlight. Other cords are also available for purchase including a
detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug, 21 foot cord with spring battery clamps and 16 or 25 foot straight cord with a cigarette plug.
This spotlight can be configured to operate on 12 volts at 8.5 amps or 24 volts at 4.25 amps. This is done by using a 12 volt, H3 bulb or 24 volt,
H# bulb. H3 replacement bulbs are readily available at any automotive store in the US. All consumer vehicles use 12 volts DC. Most military
vehicles use 24 volts DC. There is no difference in light output, its only the matter of choosing the right voltage for your vehicle.
We also now offer a 5 inch diameter and a 7 inch diameter lens. Although the difference is not significant, the 5 inch lens produces a tighter spot
beam while the 7 inch lens produces a wider coverage flood pattern
Note on Voltage: Most vehicles are 12 Volt DC. 24 Volts DOES NOT mean more power. Running a 24V light from a 12V power source will
result in a very dim or non-functioning light, and may cause internal damage to the light as well. For common vehicle use, please order 12V.
