®
MS-SC-M is a nickel-plated brass cable gland especially
designed for copper-screened cables and is used to achieve a low-
resistance screen contact, strain relief and high protection class.
SKINTOP MS-SC-M is not qualified for cases twisting a gland after inserting
the cable (e.g. circular connectors).
The gland make-up consists of:
Gland body nickel-plated brass
Cap nut nickel-plated brass
Insert with lamellar design plastic polyamide-based
Seal insert for lamellar design CR (ozone and UV- resistant)
Contact spring tinned CuBe
O-ring at the connection thread NBR (ozone and UV- resistant)
Technical features:
Connecting thread: M12x1.5 – M50x1.5 in acc. to EN 60 423
Functional thread: M14x1.5 – M51x1.5 in acc. to EN 60 423
Clamping
diameter over braid: 2,0 mm to 21,0 mm
IP protection: IP 68 - 10 bar, test in acc. to EN 60 529
IP 69K, test in acc. to DIN 40 050
Temperature range: dynamic - 25°C up to +100°C
statical - 30°C up to +100°C
Recommended torque rates in acc. to EN 50262
