5.6 Inserting the Suction/Irrigation Set
The suction/irrigation tube set is available as a disposable tube set for one-time
use (see Chapter 12 Accessory List).
The suction/irrigation hose set consists of (5), roll tubing (6), instrument tube
(8), suction and rinsing instrument (13) and suction tube (14), as well as a Y con-
nector (4) and 2 piercing thorns (2) tube. The tap spikes are used to connect the
tube components with the fluid bags.
WARNING!
Do not touch patient and the ON/OFF switch at the same time.
In order to separate sterile from non-sterile areas, assign the following tasks to
