By default, the system assigns new users to the Default Users group, but you can change their
group membership at any time. If you change a user's rights while the user is logged into the web
or CLI, the results do not take effect until the next time the user logs in.
See Local/Remote User Settings on page 145 for information about assigning rights to users.
Authentication Methods
To enable, disable, and set the precedence of authentication methods:
1. Click the User Authentication tab and the Authentication Methods option. Figure 12-2
shows the page that displays.

2. To enable a method in the Disabled methods: list, select the method and click the left arrow
to the left of the list. The methods include:
Local Users Local accounts authenticate users who attempt to log in via SSH, Telnet, the
Web, or the console port.
